The Canoe Family is a youth mentoring program that is conducted through the Snoqualmie Tribe. We are a drug, alcohol & violence free group that encourages and invites both youth & adults (native and non-native) to learn and experience our culture.

Snoqualmie Canoe Family is pleased to announce 2010 Tribal Journey travel dates. Also wanted to touch base on a couple of notes passed on to us from journey planning meetings. Tribal Journey’s is zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Tribal journey hosting Tribes are asking all Canoe Families to bring any violators to the hosting Tribe at the time of the violation and they will handle it. Snoqualmie Canoe Family will follow this protocol as requested by our hosting Tribes. Another note: Hosting Tribes are requesting all Canoe Family’s be registered and we will comply with this request as well. If you would like to travel with Snoqualmie Canoe Family on 2010 journey we will need the registration completed and turned in no later than July 1. Please contact Josie Moses 425-736-6881 josephine@snoqualmienation.com for registration packets. Please keep in mind it is our understanding due to limited space @ Makah anyone not registered with a canoe family will be considered a spectator and camping will not be available. Spectators will not be able to get into town by vehicle they will only have shuttle access.
